FAQ
-
What are the main differences between Color One and a traditional hair dye?
Color One is not an oxidative hair dye. It contains no oxidant (peroxide). Formulated with over 90% natural ingredients, it does not contain harsh chemicals such as resorcinol or (PPD) diamines. It does not warp the hair fibre as the pigments are simply applied onto the surface of the fibre.
-
What is the difference with a plant colouring?
Color One is easier to use, results in more shades and less artificial highlights. Color One is also compatible with other dyes, unlike many other vegetable hair dyes. Furthermore, Color One also requires a shorter application time.
-
Should I mix the natural colour with an oxidant?
No, Color One is ready to use and requires no mixing with an oxidiser. This colour will not lighten the hair.
-
Can you get cool tones with Color One?
Color One contains fruit pigments which are naturally warm in colour, so cool undertones are not possible. However, neutral shades are possible with the 0.1 Ash and 0.2 Iridescent chromatics.
-
Can Color One cover 100% grey hair?
Color One can cover up to 100% grey hair with a very natural result, some grey hair may be visible through the colour.
Color One doesn’t give the same coverage as oxidation dyes. -
Is Color One compatible with henna?
Yes, Color One is compatible with all types of colouring (oxidation, tone-on-tone, plant-based, balayage, etc.). Similarly, it is compatible with all available hairdressing techniques (perm, straightening…).
-
Can the chromatic shades be used alone?
Yes, especially when aiming for intense hues (red, copper).
-
How long does the Color One colouring last?
Color One gradually fades as the hair is washed (it lasts 8 to 12 shampoos).
-
If I want to stop dyeing my hair, should I first dye my hair the same colour as my natural hair colour to avoid a “root effect”?
No, you can stop colouring your hair at any time. Color One colouring fades naturally when shampooing without leaving a root effect.
-
How can a colouring without oxidant, PPD or resorcinol cover grey hair?
Our NATURAL COLOR PROCESS technology guarantees excellent coverage of grey hair with the combination of natural active ingredients and innovative dyes that optimise the colouring.
